Core API
The entire Tamale RMS desktop client runs atop the Core .NET API. For developers, this provides the richest integration point: a complete object model with access to all application data, fully supported in Visual Studio. Customization to the most proprietary aspects of your investment process can be accomplished with the tools you know today.
Real-time updates are incorporated transparently into the object model. Tamale "CacheViews" provide an easy-to-use model for querying, filtering, and monitoring data in real-time, and can be bound directly to .NET datagrids or other bindable controls.
Scripting API
Any environments which can connect to a registered COM component is fully supported by the Tamale RMS Scripting API. A subset of the Core API, it allows automation of the Desktop Application functionality, as well as direct data access and automation activities (such as data loading or Excel integration).
Web Services
For those who prefer web interfaces for lighter-weight integration points, the server exposes a set of SOAP web services defined by WSDL, allowing for easy integration to a variety of development environments, including: Java, .NET, ColdFusion, C/C++, Python, Ruby, Adobe Flex, and many others.
Web Portal
Tamale RMS makes web application integration easy. Whether it is a legacy internal system or a new service created with the Tamale API, it can be embedded in Tamale RMS. It's only one-click away from key research within your user workflow.
The Tamale Solutions API License
The license includes:
- All development permissions.
- Access to all tools and documentation.
- Access to a development environment — no need to put experimental code on your live production server.
- Access to Tamale Solutions developers for answers, help, and troubleshooting.
